This gives me an immense pleasure to write something with the blessings of Shri. Sant Baba Gurudasram Saheb.

'VAISHNAV JANA TO TENE KAHIYE JO PEER PARAYEE JANA RE' which means Vaishnav people are those who feel the pain of others.

Shivkala Netralaya was esatablished on the 1^st day of september 2005. Shivkala Netralaya is working under charity trust "Shri Sant Baba Gurudasram Seva Sansthan".  The person behind the establishment of Shivkala Netralaya is venerated Mr.Nanuram Sevaram Thakur. The very purpose behind the establishment of Shivkala is to serve poor and downtrodden. Shivkala is well equipped with Out Patient Department, Vision Testing Unit, Operation Theatre and its own 15 bedded ward.

WORK TO DATE :

Since its inception in September 2005, Shivkala Netralaya has successfully treated about 23850 patients for a nominal charge Rs.20 (0.45 USD)  as a registration fees. We have conducted over 4450 surgeries out of which 820 have been free of charge until 31-3-2010.  The operated patients are provided with free lodging and boarding along with one attendant . We also organize free medical camps in which we distribute free medicines and spectacles.

MISSION :

Our goal is to ensure total eye care for the entire community with special attention to poor and dejected people. We also wish to set up old age homes, orphanage, naturopathy centre, institute of  medical and paramedical courses for the financially weaker section. Our dream is to establish an ultra modern multi-speciality hospital with all state of the art facilities. We also wish to participate and indulge in the activities for the overall well being of the society and human race.
